After a lifetime of chronic illness, I became bedridden in 2015. Unable to move across a room by myself, I wondered what my life would look like in 5 years, 10 years? At the time, I didn't see the light on the other side of the tunnel.
With physical therapy and medical treatment, I began to see improvements -- but the greatest leap forward by far came with a consistent movement practice.
I began Joyful Movement to provide a space for people recovering from injury, living with illness, or healing post-pregnancy to safely practice movement that not only feels good in your body but also is enjoyable.
